Moving into 2021!
Can you believe that we are nearing the end of January 2021 already?! I could have sworn just yesterday we walked into the year 2021. Time is flying by and I have no idea how it’s moving this fast. There’s been so much happening but yet I still find myself dreaming of all the beautiful memories that occurred in 2020. I wanted to share some of my favorites and then also update everyone on what’s to come for 2021. So many things are already underway! January: Right off the bat we started 2020 with such a good vibe by getting into the restaurant called “Chef Vola’s” in Atlantic City, New…

Our Secret Elopement
Oh my gosh, we FINALLY got married. Let me first off say to everyone I love dearly that this was a hard decision. This is NOT how I saw my wedding taking place. I wanted one big wedding with everyone I loved at the same place at the same time. I felt a sense of betrayal running away secretly to marry the love of my life. I wasn’t even sure if it would feel like the right thing to do in the moment and I was beyond torn/heart broken. Deep down I knew this was the right thing for us as a couple but it was still hard to not…

Wedding Wednesday – The Struggle of Being a COVID Bride
As many of you are aware, since I have posted about it time and time again, John and I were suppose to wed Saturday, April 18, 2020. There was so much excitement in the air and yet a feeling of anxiety whenever I would glance at my list of things left to do. The feeling was overwhelming but so magical at the same time. We were only about 4 weeks away from the big day when I received the dreaded phone call I was hoping I would be lucky enough to avoid. “Due to COVID-19 we need to reschedule your wedding.” Can we take a moment and realize how devastating…

Bushkill Falls – The Niagara of Pennsylvania
I find it difficult to continuously think of fun ideas to explore when COVID is roaming the earth. This makes my summer bucket list almost impossible to tackle. Luckily, John and I are avid hikers, which gives us wiggle room on adventures. This past, long 4th of July weekend, we decided to go camping and head over to Bushkill Falls, PA. Being as Bushkill is about a 2 1/2 hour drive, having our dogs, and COVID still on the rise, we decided the safest route for an overnight was camping instead of a hotel. We decided to camp at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA Holiday, which is only…

Anna Maria Island, FL
Hi all! So excited to tell you all about this trip! For Thanksgiving my family and I went to Anna Maria Island, FL. John and I headed on a 17 hour road trip to bring the pups….YES….we drove 17 hours just to bring the pups with us. It was exhausting. I know Thanksgiving, November 2019, was SO long ago but what better time than now to post this and relive all the beautiful moments we had before the devastating COVID struck our world! I hope everyone finds enjoyment out of this post during such a crazy time. Just as an FYI this post probably has the most photos I have…

West Coast Road Trip: Finale-Part 6 – Oregon!
Hi guys I can’t believe we’re at the final stretch! This is the last post of our West Coast Road Trip and I am sad to see it end. This trip was a once in a lifetime whirlwind and we had the best time. I think something I took away from this whole experience was being able to spend 2 full weeks in a car with John and not having fights or disagreements. We truly are great travel companions and I think that is so important to have, especially since we LOVE to travel. With that being said, let’s jump right into it! After the Redwood National and State Parks…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 5 – California!
Hey guys! This is my second to last post for the West Coast Road Trip. I can’t believe we’re almost done. Sharing these memories and tips with you all has made me truly relive the experience and miss it so much. It was such a beautiful experience and I am so happy to say I took this adventure. After we left Las Vegas we headed off to California! I was so excited because we took a quick detour on the way to San Diego, CA to meet John’s grandparents. It was my first time meeting them and it was such a pleasure! They took us out to lunch and we…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 4 – Utah & Las Vegas!
Hi all! We are about half way through our West Coast Road Trip and there’s so much more fun to reveal. To catch up on the stop before click here. After the Lower Antelope Canyon we were on our way to Las Vegas, NV. I was so excited because I’ve never been there before but was completely ready to gamble all my life savings away in the spur of the moment. Before hitting the slots we made a detour to Zion National Park in Utah. This was recommended to us by our Lower Antelope Canyon tour guide along with our airbnb host in the yurts. Zion National Park is one…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 1 – Sedona, Arizona
Hi all! John and I had been planning a road trip across the West Coast for over half a year now and we finally were able to take this trip. It was truly amazing! We spent 2 full weeks driving from Arizona, to Utah, to Nevada, to California, and then finished our trip in Oregon. A vacation was just what we both needed and was my first vacation in about 4 years. It was an experience of a lifetime. This is the first part of a series of posts I will be writing about this trip. I had to write multiple posts for this trip as 1 blog post would…

Review: Rehoboth Beach & Dewey Beach, Delaware
Hi all! I just spent the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, DE and it was a great way to spend time with John and our dog Mia. This location is an extremely dog friendly place to visit which was great for us! We stayed at “Atlantic Oceanside Resort“, 1700 Coastal Hwy, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. If your a dog parent like me this was an extremely dog friendly hotel to stay at. Everyone had their pooches with them! They had an upstairs balcony with chairs and tables, free breakfast (love free things!), a pool, a gym, and a dog friendly beach only feet away (About a 30 second walk). The only…
