Wedding Wednesday #1 – The Engagement Shoot!
Oh my goodness you guys! I can’t believe our wedding is less than 6 months away, how crazy is that?! Planning has been so fun but also extremely stressful. I thought every so often, on a Wednesday, I would share my journey with you and some tips I learned along the way. I’m one of the first girls out of my group of friends to be getting married so I sometimes feel like the guinea pig. No one has any idea what we’re doing but we’re learning and I know it’ll all come together. I absolutely had to share my engagement photo shoot with ya’ll as I had an amazing…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 3 – Horseshoe Bend and Lower Antelope Canyon
Hi all! So happy to be chatting with you and exploring more of our trip. This is going to be such a fun post because the places we visited were insanely unique! After the Grand Canyon we headed over to Page, AZ to check into our next hotel. Before we checked in we decided to check out the “Horseshoe Bend” which was conveniently on the way. This was a gorgeous quick detour that I recommend. Though we only went to see this view there is so much more you can do. For example did you know you can kayak in the horseshoe bend? How cool is that?! Click here for…

We got a puppy and I’m engaged!
Hi all! I know I haven’t been great with updating you on my West Coast trip and so many other adventures in my life but it’s been a crazy end to our beautiful summer. We got a puppy Golden Retriever named Maverick and then a few weeks later I got engaged. It’s been a very exciting time to be me! Full disclosure: This blog is mostly photos but I promise they are cute! John and I both knew we wanted a puppy for a while but we struggled to find a dog that we felt would blend with our family. We definitely had a lot to consider since John is…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 2 – The Grand Canyon
My sincerest apologies for such a long delay! Summer just zoomed on by but I am so excited to be telling you all about part 2 of our West Coast Road Trip. To see our first part of this road trip click here. After we left Sedona, AZ we headed off to our airbnb which was a community of yurts. How cool and unique is that?! Clearly we’re outdoor people. The link to our airbnb can be found here. This location is hidden away so they give you very thorough instructions written out to help guide you to their exact location. I definitely recommend at least checking into the sight…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 1 – Sedona, Arizona
Hi all! John and I had been planning a road trip across the West Coast for over half a year now and we finally were able to take this trip. It was truly amazing! We spent 2 full weeks driving from Arizona, to Utah, to Nevada, to California, and then finished our trip in Oregon. A vacation was just what we both needed and was my first vacation in about 4 years. It was an experience of a lifetime. This is the first part of a series of posts I will be writing about this trip. I had to write multiple posts for this trip as 1 blog post would…

Review: Rehoboth Beach & Dewey Beach, Delaware
Hi all! I just spent the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, DE and it was a great way to spend time with John and our dog Mia. This location is an extremely dog friendly place to visit which was great for us! We stayed at “Atlantic Oceanside Resort“, 1700 Coastal Hwy, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. If your a dog parent like me this was an extremely dog friendly hotel to stay at. Everyone had their pooches with them! They had an upstairs balcony with chairs and tables, free breakfast (love free things!), a pool, a gym, and a dog friendly beach only feet away (About a 30 second walk). The only…

Rover Review: 5 dogs of fun!
Frenchies, Labradoodles, and Yorkies oh my! Guys! Over Easter I watched a total of 5 DOGS. 5 Dogs! How crazy is that?! Let me tell you it was so fun, adorable, but also at times exhausting. We even drove all 5 pups 2 hours to my parent’s house for Easter weekend. Talk about a car pool! Before I tell you about my super cute experience let me introduce to my dog pack. Warning: Prepare yourself for the cutest photos and videos you’ll see all week. All the way on the left we have Mugzy who was a 3 year old French Bulldog. Let me tell you this little guy made…

Review: Vacation to Wildwood, NJ & Cape May, NJ
One of my favorite vacation spots in summer is Wildwood, NJ & Cape May, NJ. Both locations are only about 10-30 minutes away from one another, dependent on where you are going. With summer right around the corner I had to tell you all my hidden gems about these places so you can plan your vacations perfectly! I truly don’t think people realize how much there is to do in here so I’m happy to share my secrets! I always stay in Wildwood over Cape May just because it is more affordable to be closer to the beach but Cape May definitely is a lot nicer. I live towards North…

Review: Mt. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse
Recently I went to “Mt. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse” located at 296 NY-17, Hillburn, NY 10931 for my best friend’s birthday. It’s a beautiful restaurant way up in the hilltops of New York. This venue is specifically known for their Hibachi and is on the expensive side. Seeing as how unique their views are you can understand you’re not only paying for the food/experience but the view/location. Additionally, you will need to make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant and tables fill up quick! For best results I would try to call a week in advance. We called a week in advance and the only tables available on…

Butler: The Working Breed Pup!
We were so excited when we had the opportunity to watch a 3 month old puppy named Butler! Butler, as seen in my “Tiny House” and “Rhode Island” posts, was so much fun! Puppies are seriously the cutest and I can never say no to them! Butler was a 3 month old Golden Retriever, Australian Shepard, Bernese Mountain dog mix. He was super playful, just like any puppy would be, but also extremely intelligent. To give you some insight on working breeds, these types of dogs are brilliant and super-fast learners. Their goal in life is to have a working purpose, they need a job. Without a job these dogs…
