Bushkill Falls – The Niagara of Pennsylvania
I find it difficult to continuously think of fun ideas to explore when COVID is roaming the earth. This makes my summer bucket list almost impossible to tackle. Luckily, John and I are avid hikers, which gives us wiggle room on adventures. This past, long 4th of July weekend, we decided to go camping and head over to Bushkill Falls, PA. Being as Bushkill is about a 2 1/2 hour drive, having our dogs, and COVID still on the rise, we decided the safest route for an overnight was camping instead of a hotel. We decided to camp at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA Holiday, which is only…

West Coast Road Trip: Finale-Part 6 – Oregon!
Hi guys I can’t believe we’re at the final stretch! This is the last post of our West Coast Road Trip and I am sad to see it end. This trip was a once in a lifetime whirlwind and we had the best time. I think something I took away from this whole experience was being able to spend 2 full weeks in a car with John and not having fights or disagreements. We truly are great travel companions and I think that is so important to have, especially since we LOVE to travel. With that being said, let’s jump right into it! After the Redwood National and State Parks…

Wedding Wednesday #3 – Saying Yes To Your Dress!
We are less than 3 months out and there is still so much to do! It’s crazy! One of the most fun things for me was picking out my wedding dress and my girl’s bridesmaid dresses. I was so excited to go dress shopping and honestly hoped I would go to a few different bridal stores but funny enough I found my dress in the first store I stepped into! Not only that but it was the 4th dress I tried on. People say when they find their dress they know it’s “the one.” I didn’t believe it until it happened to me! I actually went to one other store…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 5 – California!
Hey guys! This is my second to last post for the West Coast Road Trip. I can’t believe we’re almost done. Sharing these memories and tips with you all has made me truly relive the experience and miss it so much. It was such a beautiful experience and I am so happy to say I took this adventure. After we left Las Vegas we headed off to California! I was so excited because we took a quick detour on the way to San Diego, CA to meet John’s grandparents. It was my first time meeting them and it was such a pleasure! They took us out to lunch and we…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 4 – Utah & Las Vegas!
Hi all! We are about half way through our West Coast Road Trip and there’s so much more fun to reveal. To catch up on the stop before click here. After the Lower Antelope Canyon we were on our way to Las Vegas, NV. I was so excited because I’ve never been there before but was completely ready to gamble all my life savings away in the spur of the moment. Before hitting the slots we made a detour to Zion National Park in Utah. This was recommended to us by our Lower Antelope Canyon tour guide along with our airbnb host in the yurts. Zion National Park is one…

West Coast Road Trip: Part 1 – Sedona, Arizona
Hi all! John and I had been planning a road trip across the West Coast for over half a year now and we finally were able to take this trip. It was truly amazing! We spent 2 full weeks driving from Arizona, to Utah, to Nevada, to California, and then finished our trip in Oregon. A vacation was just what we both needed and was my first vacation in about 4 years. It was an experience of a lifetime. This is the first part of a series of posts I will be writing about this trip. I had to write multiple posts for this trip as 1 blog post would…

Rover Review: 5 dogs of fun!
Frenchies, Labradoodles, and Yorkies oh my! Guys! Over Easter I watched a total of 5 DOGS. 5 Dogs! How crazy is that?! Let me tell you it was so fun, adorable, but also at times exhausting. We even drove all 5 pups 2 hours to my parent’s house for Easter weekend. Talk about a car pool! Before I tell you about my super cute experience let me introduce to my dog pack. Warning: Prepare yourself for the cutest photos and videos you’ll see all week. All the way on the left we have Mugzy who was a 3 year old French Bulldog. Let me tell you this little guy made…

Review: Vacation to Wildwood, NJ & Cape May, NJ
One of my favorite vacation spots in summer is Wildwood, NJ & Cape May, NJ. Both locations are only about 10-30 minutes away from one another, dependent on where you are going. With summer right around the corner I had to tell you all my hidden gems about these places so you can plan your vacations perfectly! I truly don’t think people realize how much there is to do in here so I’m happy to share my secrets! I always stay in Wildwood over Cape May just because it is more affordable to be closer to the beach but Cape May definitely is a lot nicer. I live towards North…

Review: Hiking in Buckeye Arizona
WARNING: Prepare yourself for less words and stunning photos. Last minute John and I packed our bags and flew off to Arizona due to a family emergency! Now for the few of you who may know me, I am terrified of flying. I probably should have never seen the TV show “Lost”, that was my first mistake; but I wanted to try and be excited since this was my first time flying with John! The sad part was we originally weren’t even sitting together since we bought the seats so last minute. Me 5 hours on a plane, without him?! As if I wasn’t already nervous enough to fly! Luckily…

Butler: The Working Breed Pup!
We were so excited when we had the opportunity to watch a 3 month old puppy named Butler! Butler, as seen in my “Tiny House” and “Rhode Island” posts, was so much fun! Puppies are seriously the cutest and I can never say no to them! Butler was a 3 month old Golden Retriever, Australian Shepard, Bernese Mountain dog mix. He was super playful, just like any puppy would be, but also extremely intelligent. To give you some insight on working breeds, these types of dogs are brilliant and super-fast learners. Their goal in life is to have a working purpose, they need a job. Without a job these dogs…
