West Coast Road Trip: Part 1 – Sedona, Arizona
Hi all! John and I had been planning a road trip across the West Coast for over half a year now and we finally were able to take this trip. It was truly amazing! We spent 2 full weeks driving from Arizona, to Utah, to Nevada, to California, and then finished our trip in Oregon. A vacation was just what we both needed and was my first vacation in about 4 years. It was an experience of a lifetime. This is the first part of a series of posts I will be writing about this trip. I had to write multiple posts for this trip as 1 blog post would…

Review: Rehoboth Beach & Dewey Beach, Delaware
Hi all! I just spent the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, DE and it was a great way to spend time with John and our dog Mia. This location is an extremely dog friendly place to visit which was great for us! We stayed at “Atlantic Oceanside Resort“, 1700 Coastal Hwy, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. If your a dog parent like me this was an extremely dog friendly hotel to stay at. Everyone had their pooches with them! They had an upstairs balcony with chairs and tables, free breakfast (love free things!), a pool, a gym, and a dog friendly beach only feet away (About a 30 second walk). The only…

Rover Review: 5 dogs of fun!
Frenchies, Labradoodles, and Yorkies oh my! Guys! Over Easter I watched a total of 5 DOGS. 5 Dogs! How crazy is that?! Let me tell you it was so fun, adorable, but also at times exhausting. We even drove all 5 pups 2 hours to my parent’s house for Easter weekend. Talk about a car pool! Before I tell you about my super cute experience let me introduce to my dog pack. Warning: Prepare yourself for the cutest photos and videos you’ll see all week. All the way on the left we have Mugzy who was a 3 year old French Bulldog. Let me tell you this little guy made…

Review: Vacation to Wildwood, NJ & Cape May, NJ
One of my favorite vacation spots in summer is Wildwood, NJ & Cape May, NJ. Both locations are only about 10-30 minutes away from one another, dependent on where you are going. With summer right around the corner I had to tell you all my hidden gems about these places so you can plan your vacations perfectly! I truly don’t think people realize how much there is to do in here so I’m happy to share my secrets! I always stay in Wildwood over Cape May just because it is more affordable to be closer to the beach but Cape May definitely is a lot nicer. I live towards North…

Review: Mt. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse
Recently I went to “Mt. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse” located at 296 NY-17, Hillburn, NY 10931 for my best friend’s birthday. It’s a beautiful restaurant way up in the hilltops of New York. This venue is specifically known for their Hibachi and is on the expensive side. Seeing as how unique their views are you can understand you’re not only paying for the food/experience but the view/location. Additionally, you will need to make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant and tables fill up quick! For best results I would try to call a week in advance. We called a week in advance and the only tables available on…

Review: Hiking in Buckeye Arizona
WARNING: Prepare yourself for less words and stunning photos. Last minute John and I packed our bags and flew off to Arizona due to a family emergency! Now for the few of you who may know me, I am terrified of flying. I probably should have never seen the TV show “Lost”, that was my first mistake; but I wanted to try and be excited since this was my first time flying with John! The sad part was we originally weren’t even sitting together since we bought the seats so last minute. Me 5 hours on a plane, without him?! As if I wasn’t already nervous enough to fly! Luckily…

Review: Brownstone Pancake Factory
I’m not sure if you are like me but I LOVE pancakes. Lately it’s been more of an unhealthy obsession, but who doesn’t like fluffy buttered bread and syrup?! If you are tired and bored of the regular diner pancakes you need to try “Brownstone Pancake Factory“. This place has over the top insanely unique pancakes and milkshakes. This restaurant is located at 860 River Rd, Edgewater, NJ 07020 and they DO NOT take reservations. Honestly, it’s probably because they are just too high in demand and extremely busy. I would suggest going closer to their opening time at 7:00 AM because I imagine by 9:00 AM and onward it…

Weekend in Rhode Island
I recently had a long weekend trip to Rhode Island, which I consider to be my “home away from home.” When I went to Rhode Island for the first time about 3 years ago I just fell in love with the atmosphere. Little shops and dining by the waterside, dog friendly locations, and the most gorgeous scenery. I was able to explore Providence, Rhode Island and Newport, Rhode Island, but I’ll be honest my soul resonates in Newport, Rhode Island. If you’re a city person you would love Providence, Rhode Island as there is always something to do especially with the night life. They also have a ton of great…

Tiny House Living: Part 1
Everyone seems involved with the new “Tiny House” trend and I have been super curious about the small corridor living experience myself. The trend really does appeal to me but I kept wondering where can one actually find a tiny house to rent for a night? Welp, I actually found one! It is a tiny house community called “Tiny Estates” in Elizabethtown, PA. Let me tell you, it was one of the most unique weekend getaways I have had in months! I call this review “Part 1” because we are already planning a trip to go back in the summer and staying in a different home! Since check in wasn’t…

Philadelphia Flower Show
This past Sunday, March 10, 2019 I was able to attend The Philadelphia Flower Show and it was a unique way to spend the day. The Flower Show took place from Saturday, March 2 – Sunday, March 10. The Philadelphia Flower Show had extremely detail oriented flower displays in a large convention room. Each design had to be made with thousands of tiny flowers perfectly organized in a different array of assortments. The fun part about this Flower Show is not only did the whole room smell extremely good from the flowers but the exhibits were slightly interactive and you could take a bunch of photos and who doesn’t love…
