    Butler: The Working Breed Pup!

We were so excited when we had the opportunity to watch a 3 month old puppy named Butler! Butler, as seen in my “Tiny House” and “Rhode Island” posts, was so much fun! Puppies are seriously the cutest and I can never say no to them!  Butler was a 3 month old Golden Retriever, Australian Shepard, Bernese Mountain dog mix.  He was super playful, just like any puppy would be, but also extremely intelligent. To give you some insight on working breeds, these types of dogs are brilliant and super-fast learners.  Their goal in life is to have a working purpose, they need a job.  Without a job these dogs…

    Review: Brownstone Pancake Factory

I’m not sure if you are like me but I LOVE pancakes. Lately it’s been more of an unhealthy obsession, but who doesn’t like fluffy buttered bread and syrup?! If you are tired and bored of the regular diner pancakes you need to try “Brownstone Pancake Factory“. This place has over the top insanely unique pancakes and milkshakes. This restaurant is located at 860 River Rd, Edgewater, NJ 07020 and they DO NOT take reservations. Honestly, it’s probably because they are just too high in demand and extremely busy. I would suggest going closer to their opening time at 7:00 AM because I imagine by 9:00 AM and onward it…

    Weekend in Rhode Island

I recently had a long weekend trip to Rhode Island, which I consider to be my “home away from home.”  When I went to Rhode Island for the first time about 3 years ago I just fell in love with the atmosphere.  Little shops and dining by the waterside, dog friendly locations, and the most gorgeous scenery.  I was able to explore Providence, Rhode Island and Newport, Rhode Island, but I’ll be honest my soul resonates in Newport, Rhode Island.  If you’re a city person you would love Providence, Rhode Island as there is always something to do especially with the night life.  They also have a ton of great…

    Tiny House Living: Part 1

Everyone seems involved with the new “Tiny House” trend and I have been super curious about the small corridor living experience myself. The trend really does appeal to me but I kept wondering where can one actually find a tiny house to rent for a night? Welp, I actually found one! It is a tiny house community called “Tiny Estates” in Elizabethtown, PA. Let me tell you, it was one of the most unique weekend getaways I have had in months! I call this review “Part 1” because we are already planning a trip to go back in the summer and staying in a different home! Since check in wasn’t…

    Philadelphia Flower Show

This past Sunday, March 10, 2019 I was able to attend The Philadelphia Flower Show and it was a unique way to spend the day. The Flower Show took place from Saturday, March 2 – Sunday, March 10. The Philadelphia Flower Show had extremely detail oriented flower displays in a large convention room. Each design had to be made with thousands of tiny flowers perfectly organized in a different array of assortments. The fun part about this Flower Show is not only did the whole room smell extremely good from the flowers but the exhibits were slightly interactive and you could take a bunch of photos and who doesn’t love…

    Life of a Show Dog

Ever wanted to know what goes into taking care of a show dog? Well here’s your chance! It’s a lot of maintenance, time, and all around fun. I am so excited to introduce Really and Figgy, 2 female Tibetan Terriers. Really is 11 years old and Figgy is 2. Really is retired from the show business but Figgy’s career has just begun! Before I go into detail about their visit, let me tell you about the breed. These dogs can range from a weight of 18-30 pounds and are expected to live 15-16 years. They can be athletic and agile but at the same time have the deposition of being…

    Stone Mountain, GA

November, 2018 I was given the opportunity to travel to Stone Mountain, GA and meet up with my friend Kerry. I spent 4 days there and please be advised that fall in Georgia does not disappoint! It is absolutely stunning. Stone Mountain, GA is a completely gated off town which is very unique. I stayed at Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort and it was gorgeous. Additionally, since this resort is more pricey, they also offer lodging at Stone Mountain Inn and camping. These options can be found here. Of course the biggest headline of “Stone Mountain, GA” is the literal “Stone Mountain.” You can even take a Skyride up to…

    Hold My Knots!

Welcome to my first blog post! What better way to celebrate then by adding restaurants to your bucket list?! This month I explored 2 restaurants. One is called “Hold my knots” and the other is “Pier 115“. Hold my knots If you’re a casual pizza eater like me then I have just the spot for you! “Hold my knots” in Hillsdale, NJ is a must. This restaurant specializes in creating garlic knot based entrees. They were yummy and so fun to try! They have stuffed garlic knots and garlic knot sliders. I highly recommend the garlic knot sliders. They are an interesting take on the original “hamburger sliders” and were…
