Baby C’s 4D Ultrasound!
John and I just did a 4D ultrasound the other day and had the most incredible experience! I’ll be honest, I was nervous it would be a waste of time and money or maybe just even creepy, but we really loved it. We got to spend 30 minutes with our soon-to-be baby boy and see things in more detail than ever before. I didn’t actually find it that creepy and instead a lot of fun.
We went to Fetal Vision Imaging, located at 1609 Woodbourne Rd #202b, Levittown, PA 19057. There are lots of places that do 4D ultrasounds but if you are in the area or close please choose this location. They have high-tech equipment that no other location has and you will receive the clearest photos of your baby. I heavily researched other places and no one had clear photos like this place did. It’s worth the drive! The staff is quick to respond, friendly and you can tell they love what they do. Even after the thousands of these they do, our technician still seemed excited to be with us which was a great feeling. One thing this location will stress to you as well is to drink A LOT of water. The more water you drink, the better photos you will receive. This is for any location and he said my photos were as clear as they could almost get. Proud of my hydrationation!
We got to see our little man move around, kick himself in the head, and he even gave us a big smile. That was the most exciting part for me, seeing his smile! It was unreal. The whole experience made me realize “Wow there’s an actual baby inside of me.”
This location also does a lot of packages and can determine the sex of your baby as early as 6-8 weeks. There are so many different options for soon-to-be parents which I also loved. I already know this will forever be our go-to place as long as we live in this area. We received 95 photos from this appointment and a 17-minute long video so we can watch him move around anytime we want. The photos and video were done right as our appointment ended so we didn’t have to wait to receive anything, which is great because I can be antsy! I was able to show all my friends and family right away which was really exciting. They even have an option where you can bring friends and family into the room to experience this with you or they can video in to be a part of it all.
This makes me so curious of who he will look like. I think regardless it will be hard to tell from these photos but what we did notice is the side view he looks like John. From the front view he looks like me as a baby. I guess only time will tell!
In this photo you can see his little ear and below that to the left slightly are lines/wrinkles on the side of his head. That’s actually his hair the technician told us. So he already has hair growing! How wild is that?!
The technician also gave us his heartbeat and informed me that he was already head down. That was good to know. Anything can obviously change in the upcoming weeks but I am glad to know we are on the right track! He did not provide his weight or length because so many ultrasounds record this at your doctor’s office and are inaccurate. I appreciated that a lot because I know my body will not create a baby that is too big for me. This appointment is solely just to see your baby. This is not a medical appointment by any means.
We can’t wait to see you Baby C! We love you so much already.
